The Weatherford Police Department currently employs 30 sworn police officers, 17 communications specialists, 4 animal control officers and 2 civilian employees, all who provide 24/7 coverage to the citizens of Weatherford, covering approximately 7. 5 square miles with a population of approximately 12, 500 people.
