The City of Weatherford has twelve parks containing over eight hundred (800) acres with many picnic and play areas.

Centennial Park (Downtown)
located at Broadway and Main – 106 N. Broadway St. / 201 U.S. Bicycle Rt. 66
Features: time capsule, picnic area, historical bricks
Clark Park
located at Huber and Indiana – 501 E. Huber Ave. / 524 N. Indiana St.
Features: pavilion, miniature golf, sand volleyball, splash pad, play area, and thunder court.
Conder Park
located at Conder Dr. and W. Main – S. 6th St. / 417 I-40 Bus.
Features: picnic area, play area
Heritage Park
located across from City Hall – 519 W. Rainey Ave.
Located along Historic Route 66 in Weatherford is Heritage Park. Relax on the porch equipped with music, free wifi, swings and tables. Fun for all to enjoy, kids can visit the playground area and your fur babies can enjoy the dog park. This park has public restrooms and a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
Lockstone Park
located at Saber Lane and Washington – 1403 N. Washington
Features: rocket slide, picnic area, small play area
Means Park
located at Huber and Indiana Streets – 448 E. Huber Ave.
Features: pavilions (2), 2 acres of play area, gazebo, splash pad, miniature putt-putt
Rader Park Complex
located at – North Lyle Road and G. Dean Rader Drive
Features: golf cart storage, soccer fields, nature trail, sand volleyball, women’s softball fields, 18 acres of playground area, rodeo arena, AG Expo Center, Mike Brown Event Center (futsal complex), basketball goals, horseshoe pit, 18 hole golf course and club house, baseball fields, basketball court, 2 mile cross country track, 1 mile walking trail, softball fields, pavilions, picnic areas, play area, tennis courts [6], plus one championship court, and Pickleball Courts (4). Also featured is the “Ole” Fishin Hole pond, located in the NW corner of the park. It covers 6.5 surface acres and is fully stocked & lighted. Fishing license is required. Floating dock and picnic area are lighted. Located around the Ole Fishin Hole is a frisbee golf course. Across the street on the north side of the walking trail is the Splash Pad.
Rotary Centennial Park
located in Rader Park Complex north of Eagle Baseball Field – 3000 North Lyle Rd.
Features: BancFirst Toddler Playground, Playground, skate park, Rotary Amphitheater, pavilions, restrooms
SWOSU Bulldogs & Friends Dog Park – Triplett Park
located west from Condor Park – 521 W. Rainey
Features: Fun for all to enjoy, kids can visit the playground area and your fur babies can enjoy the dog park. Separated areas are provided for large and small dogs
Thacker Park
located at 4th and Huber
Features: pavilion, play area, basketball court
Tom Stafford Park
located between 8th and Broadway on Tom Stafford – 215 W. Tom Stafford St.
Features: monument of Tom Stafford and family, proposed Stafford Gardens
Weber Park
located at 1403 N. Washington
Features: large & small pavilions, play area with creek and hills, sand volleyball

About The Golf Club
Weatherford’s 18-hole Prairie West Golf Club facility features 6,721 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71, and there are tees for players of all levels. The course rating is 69.6 and it has a slope rating of 120. Designed by Ward Maynard, the Weatherford golf course opened in 1971.
Prairie West Golf Club serves as the home course for the Southwestern Oklahoma State men’s and women’s teams.

The Prairie West Golf Club recently finished with the construction of their new clubhouse. The total cost of the construction was $880,000 with an additional cost of $50,000 for new equipment and furniture. With the help of members and the City of Weatherford, the golf club has received almost all of those costs in cash and pledges.
